Two Old Friends Eating Their Way Through Westfield

How cheeky is she?

I really wish I could answer that, but I still don't know even after nearly 10 years of knowing her....

A cod burger and sweet potato chips for lunch.

'Girl, down the goddamn burger already'

That's what she was saying to me across the table whilst I continuously took photos of her and my food. Yes, indeed I am one of 'those' people who spend more time taking lovely photos rather than actually eating the food.

Well, then I'll be the one with the nicer photo of the food to reminisce upon in low moments in my life right?

Even after all these years of knowing each other, we are both eager to see one another once in a while, even though we haven't been going to the same school since being in primary school.

(We were the girls who were perfectly behaved unless found together spending our time doing use less things, of course...)

So it seemed that we made our way to Westfield Stratford in the summer and I decided to treat myself to some/lots of unhealthy food.

Cos, that's the way I do it honey.

So here is a review of the food I consumed that day:

I can't ever make up my mind but eventually I went for the chunky cod burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was pretty oily but crispy and worked well with the crisp bread. I really was craving a burger and this satisfied my carb filled desires.

I would have liked the sweet  potato fries to be more thinly cut and crispy rather than just chunky chips. I do sometimes make sweet potato fries at home where I oven cook them and put in some spice which really livens the sweet taste up (maybe I will put up a recipe later for you...)

Overall, a good burger but not the best chips. I had to dip the fries into a lot of ketchup and mayonnaise to really get much flavour.

Oh, it was beautiful.

I looked online before going to Westfield  and found that the Concrete Custard they serve is really good. I'm glad to say, yes; it fulfilled my love for peanut butter, chocolate, banana and ice cream all at once and I can't think of any improvements. I found the chunks of chocolate and slices of banana was really something I haven't seen food places serve before (even though I love doing this at home!)

I really would have liked to try their burgers because the cheesiness of them seems worth indulging in.

Have you been to these places before? Is there anything in particular you like off the Shake Shack menu? If there is, let me know because I will head over there once I get the chance!

New Buys | Denman Thermoceramic Barrel

Winter and my hair doesn't seem to get on very well.

No, that would be an understatement.

They hate each other.

I preach the whole, 'Embrace What Your Born With' thing but I do wish that my hair was a little more manageable because the lovely kinks at the front of my hair are not very lovely at all.

I watched some videos to see how to blow dry the front of your hair so I flows away from the face when I realised that I really need a round brush.

The annoying thing about me is when I want something, I will do my best to get it as soon as possible, so I bought the Denman Thermoceramic Barrel from Boots for £8.79, which by the way, I have been absolutely loving!

I does everything it says I will: smooth, high speed, quick and simple styling. I tried straightening my hair with this and it took me just under 20 minutes which is incredibly fast compared to other times where it has taken me around an hour (yes, imma stingy perfectionist). It can also curl your hair but I have yet to try that puzzle.

Seriously, don't take my word for how helpful a round brush is... go out and buy one and then thank me for making your life that little bit less complicated:)

My Girls | Westfield | Shopping | Frozen Yougurt |

Summer. Summer. Summer.

Yes, Priyanka we understand so stop lazing around and get out of the house.

So, I decided that I needed to get back on the London Underground and go to Westfield Shopping City. For some reason I love the tube, apart from the obvious filth everywhere; it gives me freedom because I can go anywhere. I guess really you only appreciate these things when they come infrequently and not when you have to travel my train everyday to work.

One day I do want to travel to lots of different countries, see new places, meet new people and do new things but it seems as though I have some years to pass until then so I'm going to make the most of it - the most of now.

Don't these babies look delish? We were hungry okay. Who can resist some Yoomoo Frozen Yogurt in a shopping mall full of cafes and restaurants anyway?

To be fair they do look like a piece of art, even though I was a fail at using the machine at the 'create your own station'...well I'm no ice-cream maker we've all discovered.

Did I tell you I love my friends so very much? Who else would I have to annoy and drag around with me...

We did pop into New Look to try on some heels and I discovered that I can't walk in heels to save my life! They hurt. Forget about walking, just standing in them hurts. I praise everyone who can do it all day every day, I really do.

See ya from the top.

I got dared, so I did and before any staff could tell me to go up the right escalator instead of running up the one going downwards.

More walking, eating, drinking Monster for 'energy' since the shopping centre is so big. We also managed to play hide and seek in Holister claiming it's 'too dark' to shop in and annoyed a ton load of people on our way. Next time its elevator pranks I promise.

We're here to make childish memories right?

Boots Birthday Haul!

If you are anything like me then you know how exciting going to boots can be! I mean seriously after constantly seeing bloggers and youtubers doing makeup hauls and favorites there are so many products that I seem to 'need' and have been adding up onto my wish list.

I finally convinced my mum to take me to boots because I had to get a ton of first aid things for my Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition and then treated my self to some beauty products because summer is not TOO far away and on Thursday (20th March) ITS MY BIRTHDAY!

I ended up buying:

-Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Eternal Gold

-Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Green Berry

-Maybelline Dream Sun bronzer in Blonde

-Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

- Boots Oil Absorbing Sheets

-Max Factor Gloss Infinity in Angel Nails

-Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

-Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punched (that I didn't put into the picture!)

I think that all of these things will look (and work) gorgeous during the summer months and I am so excited to try out all these products because I have heard so many good things about them!

Have you tried these before? Let me know!
