My Canon Camera!

Lets go on an adventure since now I can finally call you mine...

It finally happened.

I got my baby.

I had to wait and beg (my dad) for what seemed a million years to get hold of this, but trust me it was sooo worth it.

It was earlier last year when I started reading blogs and becoming familiar with the concept, but what drew me in the most was the beautiful photography, I am quite an artistic person and it was then that I realised it would like to take it up.

That's not the only reason why, its because pictures are memories! When I do something amazing and exciting I always think in my head 'this would be a beautiful photograph' and one day I will look through them all and remember how great I felt at that moment.

I am more than grateful than I can put into words for this.

Okay, so I don't really know what half the tech-y buttons really do, but this is an adventure for me - to explore, an adventure to make memories and live the life I have always imagined. (Oh, the symbolism of it all).

So, lets make this more than really beautiful.

Hastings Seaside Day Trip 25/05/14

Okay it was a few weeks ago, I've been a little busy...

We were so lucky the weather was good because I know the seaside is never fun when its windy and pouring with rain, which is always very likely to happen in England!

The entire day was packed with action and things to do, I even made sure to tick off everything on  my mental 'to do list' for the day...

We had doughnuts. They are no ordinary doughnuts I tell you, nothing quite so ordinary. No, they are like fireworks melting in your mouth, hot and freshly baked, too hot in fact - but the mouth burn was all worth it in the end. Ummmm....hungry yet? You just have to try hot doughnuts on the sea side and then might understand my state of mind at that point :)

Also, I have come to a very important conclusion. Donthavecoffeeintheeveningunlessyoureallydontwanttosleepthewholenight.

Yes, my afternoon 'pick me up' turned out to be my 'all night keep me up' (Ha. I'm hysterical that rhymes).

My whole day was spent with some really lovely girls and we had a full on time getting up to no good, which is always something you can expect when you spend just enough time with me.

What did you get up to when the sun was out shining?

Things That Make Me Happy #1 Loving Myself

'Happiness is about loving yourself and being less concerned with the approval of others'

Recently, I have been trying my utmost best to keep happy. Sure it might seem a little forceful but really it has been making a huge impact on my life.

As I did mention before here it all started when I drew a mind map of 'Things That Make Me Happy' so that I could identify them by brainstorming, and then incorporate them in my everyday life. These are some of my 'trigger' actions that put me in seriously good mood :D

So what about a series of posts about everything that makes me happy?

I think that's a marvellous idea!

Self Love

No, not the vain kind but the type that makes me feel BETTER about myself.

I have to admit it is hard to start to love yourself (and your body) wholly with your flaws and insecurities but once you really accept who you are it becomes so much easier to be more confident.

Beauty is from the inside, and once that begins to show to everyone you can be beautiful in everyone's eyes.

It is so much easier said than done but it is honestly those baby steps that make the whole difference.

I have definitely become more confident and outgoing; it is something that I have worked hard for and it makes me so proud and happy to feel this way.

Deep stuff.

In the ceremony  of 'Loving Myself' let me share with you a #selfie (which I normally am disastrously bad at).

Lots of Love,

The Little Things in Life

Finally school is up (for a little bit anyway) and a week into the Easter holidays..I am pretty much bored sick.

Its not even that, just being in the same atmosphere everyday, waking up at the same time everyday, showering at the same time everyday and doing the same thing (everyday) just stresses me out. I have been revising everyday in the morning for a few hours for my mock exams but I just cant seem to concentrate.

Even my mum has notices and she just keeps telling me to CALM DOWN.

So I figures that I have to keep myself occupies and happy through the week and make those little things really count.

Drawing a mind map of 'Things I Love' really helps, I know what makes me happy (which are ideas to help me out when Im bored and well miserable :D )

So I made a list of 'Things That Have Made Me Happy This Week' :

Sunday: The sunshine, jogging in the park with my earphones on, having a baking contest with my sister (that I obviously won) and having grilled halloumi skewers for lunch and painting my nails mint green

Tuesday: WATCHING DIVERGENT with my friends (since I made them all read the book and have been excited for months!)...and then having pizza :) Wearing my new jewlery and top that I got for my birthday, getting all dressed up and having coffee in the morning #igottaslightaddiction

Thursday: Re-watching Catching Fire with my brother and sister (since its my favorite film as you might know!)

Friday: Walking to McDonald's to buy a cup O'coffee (well actually a latte) and a magazine

All week: Reading Allegiant (oh my goossh its so unexpected...)

I know this all sounds a little bit stupid but really it has been making a difference to my mood by just doing some little things for myself.

Hey anyway, WE'RE WORTH IT right?

Boots Birthday Haul!

If you are anything like me then you know how exciting going to boots can be! I mean seriously after constantly seeing bloggers and youtubers doing makeup hauls and favorites there are so many products that I seem to 'need' and have been adding up onto my wish list.

I finally convinced my mum to take me to boots because I had to get a ton of first aid things for my Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition and then treated my self to some beauty products because summer is not TOO far away and on Thursday (20th March) ITS MY BIRTHDAY!

I ended up buying:

-Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Eternal Gold

-Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Green Berry

-Maybelline Dream Sun bronzer in Blonde

-Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

- Boots Oil Absorbing Sheets

-Max Factor Gloss Infinity in Angel Nails

-Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

-Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punched (that I didn't put into the picture!)

I think that all of these things will look (and work) gorgeous during the summer months and I am so excited to try out all these products because I have heard so many good things about them!

Have you tried these before? Let me know!

Frosty Window...

This week, as I sat delighting in my beautiful pancakes and sipping on my mocha (urm, I have a BIT of a coffee obsession...) I was called upstairs by my little sister to see the window.

And wow I was shocked. Hopefully the camera has picked up the beautiful patterns that we created by the frost because I really couldnt belive something so intricate could be created naturally. I just thought it would be lovely to share because I have never seen something that I have been in awe of ...on a window.Well, I guess it was all down to Jack Frost!

Simple Sugar Free Pancakes

Recently I have trying my best to eat healthily...but that doesn't mean that I don't continuously crave chocolate and feel the need to satisfy my sweet tooth!

I found a recipe for pancakes and decided to try it out and was amazed by how simple and healthy (no sugar!) it was but how darn delicious it tastes.

Ingredients for 2 servings:
-Oats (I used 2 packs of Oats so Simple)
-1 egg
-1 Banana (chopped)
-Almond Milk...which I guesstimated (I used Alpro but any milk will do)

Toppings :
-Melted dark chocolate
-Coconut shavings

Bled the oats by itself so it resembles flour then add the banana (natural sweetener), egg and almond milk and blend it until it is a liquid pancake mixture. Cooked them like normal pancakes adding any wonderful type of toppings and then serve! Simples.

What are your favorite pancake toppings?
